Easter Cake by Kim Hamilton

The Easter cake is german chocolate torted with pecan coconut filling and frosted in an egg yolk based chocolate buttercream. The fondant is Massa brand fondant. The bunny is sculpted free form from rice krispie treats. The flowers are either 100% gumpaste, or a 50/50 blend of gumpaste and fondant. The chicks are made of fondant. The eggs and tail of the bunny are fondant crusted in sugar sanding dust.
